COFFEE BREAK // Biannual Bibliothon Day 3: The Villains Synopsis

July 25, 2017

Helloooooo!

So I just recently realized that the Biannual Bibliothon has blogger challenges (yayyayyay!) Since I'm on the struggle bus, I forgot that the read-a-thon started on Sunday. Monday's challenge is to write a review and since I'm all caught up on reviews I'm skipping to Tuesday's challenge xD
Which is...

"Pick a book that you loved and write a new synopsis based off of the villains POV"

I'm really bad at writing short, informative, things so this is going to be a bit of a struggle lmao. But I'm going to try, y'all!

The book I chose for this challenge is:

I don't care what anyone else says. This book is A M A Z I N G. Then again... I'm trash for Hades/Persephone retellings xD.

I decided that I wanted to write the synopsis from the POV of Nritti (who is the main villain in the story). She was out for my otp and I WAS NOT OKAY.

Also beware of mild spoilers! I wasn't really sure how to do Nritti's POV without mentioning at least some things that go down around halfway through the book.

So without any further ado...

Love and loathing. Power and Betrayal.
What lies must be told to be ruler of the lands?

His love has returned.

Many moons after their first meeting, the woman of stars has returned to the Otherworld. Feared and scorned by the kingdom because of mortal superstitions the girl, Maya, finds herself in a world only whispered about between the pages of books. With no knowledge of a previous life filled with magic and passionate love, she finds herself distrustful of her new-found marriage.

... exactly as she must be.

The apsara, Nritti, has waited quite long enough. The once beautiful blossom of friendship between Nritti and Maya has long since wilted and died. Slowly planting seeds of doubt and fear in Maya's head, Nritti begins to plan for her rule of Akaran.

For a love strong enough to span centuries, to undo a tangled web of deception, truly doesn't exist. Does it?

... annnd that's all I've got ahaha. The parts in purple are slightly similar to the finished copy since I wanted it to have similar-ish formatting. I hope that wasn't too cringy to read xD

I'm now off to attempt t finish reading my second book of the readathon! Wish me luck ♥

Thank you so much for reading and have a fabulous day!
